About The Guy Behind This Tarot Blog

about me picture

Hi ! My name is Chris and this blog is one of my dreams come to life. 🙂

I’ve been using tarot cards on my own for a while now, ten years, even though it feels like it’s been a lifetime.

I can’t believe that I ever lived my life without them.

There were a lot of things that helped me when I started my journey, books, friends, references, blogs within the community and I am immensely grateful to them for pointing me in this direction.

So I’m here to help you and anyone else that I can!

Who is Chris?

To be fair, I’m just some guy that knows a thing or two about tarot cards, all I want to do is share those findings with the world! Or as many people as I can.

I was born and raised in France. I had my first run in with tarot about ten years ago, when I bought my first deck and was introduced into this beautiful world.

I’m a Scorpio, Aquarius rising, for anyone that wants to know the real me. But don’t hold it against me. While we may not be the favorite sign out there, we’re known for our passion and our attraction to clairvoyancy, astrology, paranormal….

On a more real… or random note, I love crisps, salt and vinegar specifically. That’s another thing that I hope you don’t hold against me, I know that the flavor isn’t everyone’s cup of tea.

I also love yoga and meditation, it calms me and keeps me centered. I also am a big fan of coconut cakes… and no there’s no reason, they just taste good.

My friends would call me quirky and optimistic, and a tad too sensible if I’m being honest. I like to think that most people are honest and kind, even though it might be a little naive. But sensitivity is a good thing, especially when it comes to reading tarot cards. It’s good to be easily in touch with your emotions, letting our intuition take over and guide us to interpret the cards we get.

Why did I start using tarot cards?

There’s a lot of reasons to start using tarot cards, and none of them are the “right” or “wrong” reason.

Personally, and some may say it’s silly, I started using tarot cards because I was really insecure.

I was constantly worried about the future and what it might bring, so I hoped that tarot cards would lead me in the right direction and help me make the right decisions regarding the future.

At first, I was skeptical, as I’m sure many are, I’ve always been a very down to earth person. The biggest turning point for me was getting the same cards over and over when I would shuffle the same question, no matter how many times I would try.

After that I started using them all the time. At a point I had to pull back, realizing that I was using my decks to make even the smallest decisions.

Well… maybe not whether I took green or white tea for breakfast, but you never know. Luckily, I found a good balance, and I feel more at peace now.

What did tarot bring me?

I think that every single deck is like a friend, so in a way, it brought me lots of friends. I can say that I am very popular nowadays haha.

Jokes aside, tarot is a great self-reflection tool that can help you in many ways.

It can help you when you need guidance in your everyday life, or when you are looking to make a big decision, whatever you need it for.

Tarot is for everyone. It helped me with a sense of peace, a way of feeling like I was headed in the right direction.

I also feel that it’s a great way to bring people together.

  • I have helped friends get into it ( and now with this website I hope to help people see all the things that tarot cards can do for them.)
  • I have also read for many friends, and I plan to continue, it is a great way to not only get closer with them but also help them in more ways than one.
  • I even started to do it for a few clients as a side job…..

I love being able to help bring guidance to others, whether it be in their work life, love life, overall social life, or all of the above.

Giving consistently accurate readings has been a huge part of the reason I believe so deeply in these cards.

Even if I joke about it, I truly do think that tarot and my cards are like friends to me, it feels like a friend is giving me advice when I get a reading. This was also a big factor that helped me trust what the cards were telling me, even if it took me a little while to really understand it on a deep level.

I’ve also found that this is a never-ending journey.

I am still learning things to this day, and I honestly don’t think that is going to change anytime soon. I’ve found that this is the reason that it’s so fun, each and every reading is different and changing in a way that you can’t find anywhere else.

What is it that they say? Something something… it’s not about the destination but the things you learn and the friends you make along the way?

What will you find in this blog?

Any and all things tarot! Mostly, there will be findings of my own, things that I have personally experienced and can back up.

But you will also see some reviews and blog posts from other tarot readers! So, you’ll get to see many different perspectives.

There will be specific experiences with both tarot cards, oracle cards and anything that can help us better interpret these awesome cards.

I will most likely even be trying out new decks, meaning there will be new content frequently.

This blog will keep you in the know. I will share my reviews of specific tarot decks and books, hopefully this will help people know where to start.

As of now, my favorite decks are The Rider – Waite smith, the Vera Sibilla Italiana and The Lenormand. Though, you never know if that may change.

I intend to help anyone who is looking to start their tarot journey. As I said earlier, Tarot is for everyone and that will never change. No matter why you want to start. Even if it’s just to try and you don’t know much about the practice. Everyone starts somewhere, and I’m here to help in any way that I can ! 🙂
